Dr. Kernberg on “Spectrum of Psychodynamic Psychotherapies Today”

Otto Kernberg, M.D., director of the Personality Disorders Institute at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Westchester Division and professor of psychiatry at the Weill Cornell Medical College, will discuss “The Spectrum of Psychodynamic Psychotherapies Today” on Wednesday evening, January 22, 2014, as part of Adelphi’s annual Lindemann Lecture in Human Development. The lecture, which will take place in New York City, is open to Adelphi alumni and their families and friends. Details about the time and location of the event will be available later in the fall.

Dr. Kernberg is a past president of the International Psychoanalytic Association. He is also training and supervising analyst with the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. The author of 12 books and coauthor of 11 others, he has received numerous awards for his excellence in psychiatry and psychoanalysis in general and his work on severe personality disorders in particular.
