International Psychology Honor Society
Web site - www.psichi.org
Psi Chi is the international honors society for psychology majors, sponsored by the American Psychology Association (APA). Membership in this prestigious society is highly coveted and only students at the top of their class are invited to join.
Members can present their research at the APA's annual regional, national and international meetings. Membership in Psi Chi includes a subscription to the international newsletter which contains valuable information about graduate studies and career opportunities.
The Psi Chi chapter at Adelphi works closely with the Psychology Club to coordinate activities.

Psychology Club
The Psychology Club is open to students with a major or minor in psychology, as well as to all students with an interest in the subject. The faculty support the Club's camaraderie and collaborative efforts as a positive contribution to the academic experience.
The Psychology Club sponsors lectures, discussions, and social activities where students can interact informally. The club established an Information Exchange in which members interested in graduate school share information about admission requirements, deadlines, and required tests, such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
MINDPOWER, the Psychology Club newsletter, is an important source of information in articles and candid interviews with faculty. Student and faculty are encouraged to submit articles, cartoons, and other written material.
The Club sponsors charitable activities, including a food drive and sales for which the proceeds are donated to a community charity.
