Minor in Psychology

Strengthen your portfolio by minoring in psychology.

You can enhance an undergraduate major in any field with a minor in psychology. Whatever your calling is, psychology—the study of human thought and behavior–will deepen your sense of compassion, sharpen your analytical abilities and allow you to thrive in today’s global society.

To obtain a minor in psychology, you must complete our introductory course (PIA 101), plus an additional 15 credits in psychology coursework.

Seek the advice of faculty members in both the School of Psychology and your major area of study before selecting courses and electives.

After securing approval from an adviser, you must also submit a completed Change of Major/Minor form to the Office of the University Registrar.
