Plan of Study

The composition of our rigorous curriculum.

The doctoral curriculum includes foundational, research and clinical courses that meet the requirements of New York State Department of Education and the American Psychological Association, as well as a structure which provides for content that continues the distinctly Derner tradition.

The program requires 120 credits for graduation, including seven elective courses, which permits the curriculum to evolve and stay current with the demands of the clinical psychology field.
