Psychotherapy Center |
The Postgraduate Psychotherapy Center is the clinical service division of the Postgraduate Programs in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. A group practice composed of therapists with postgraduate clinical training, the Center offers affordable psychotherapy services in private offices throughout Long Island and the New York City metropolitan area, as well as on the Long Island and Manhattan campuses of Adelphi University. Along with psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy, many of our clinicians have advanced training in child, adolescent, and family therapy, marriage and couples therapy, and group therapy. In addition, clinical specializations in such areas as addiction/recovery, eating disorders, gay and lesbian affirmative treatment, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders, among others, are available through the Center. Fees are set on a sliding scale and most insurance plans are accepted. A specialized service in low-cost, intensive psychoanalysis is also available.
