Expanding Your Clinical Skills Conference

Postgraduate Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy conference.

Sunday, November 2, 2014
8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Alumni House

This half-day conference will provide you with an opportunity to spend four hours in small groups, discussing your own cases with other clinicians. The treatment modalities we will cover are:

  • Adult Psychotherapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
  • Couple Therapy
  • School Psychological and Social Work Services
  • Clinical Supervision

Each group will meet for two hours and you may choose two different modalities or remain in the same one for both sessions.

Master clinicians representing each of the six postgraduate programs in the Institute will run the groups.

Participants are encouraged to present case material for discussion. In advance of the meetings, you might consider discussing several questions related to your case:

  • Why did you choose this case?
  • What do you want the group to know about it?
  • What are the challenging issues you face with this case?
  • What do you want help with?
