MPS 639: Advanced Topics In Substance Abuse Counseling 3 credits This class will further develop theoretical and basic science knowledge of addiction, as well as hone therapeutic techniques. Topics include dual diagnosis, HIV, STD, legal, ethical, vocational and professional issues. Case studies, research articles and role playing will be utilized to highlight case examples and clinical interventions.
