MPS 607: Developmental Psychology 3 credits This course provides a clear understanding and working knowledge of various theories of psychological development. Perspectives include: environmental, maturational, ethological, educational, organismic, cognitive moral, learning theory, psychoanalytic, experiential, humanistic, and life stages. The course aims to increase the student's ability to recognize developmental issues as they manifest themselves in life. The goal is for students to use this knowledge for their own insight and development as well as a thoughtful understanding of treatment for their own patients.
